How to analyze the "Environment" section

Introduction

In this article, you will learn how to use the Environment section in your Property Advisor tool.

The environment has a significant impact on a property’s value.

The Environment section displays the noise level of the neighbourhood surrounding the evaluated property.

Within this section, you can get an idea of the noise level around your property.

On the left panel, you will find an overall score from 1 to 5, along with an equivalent noise level in decibels.

We have included a noise scale that allows you to compare common sound intensities with each other, as well as the main sources of noise around your property (road, railway, airport, etc.).

On the right panel, you will see an interactive map showing, in various shades of purple, the main noise sources.

In this example, we can see that this property in Lyon is quite noisy due to its location near the Rhône river quays.
